Australia Awards Solomon Islands has established a Disability Advisory Group [in 2025] dedicated to strengthening inclusion for people with disabilities throughout the scholarship journey—from outreach and application through to study and alumni engagement.

• Purpose and Role

  The Group provides guidance and application support, builds networks with disability organizations, and shares alumni success stories.

• Membership

  Comprised of individuals living with a disability, and having  strong ties to the Solomon Islands disability community, providing  guidance to keep the program accessible and inclusive
